Course Description: Includes a basic overview of the course and an understanding of office forms, codes, and the life cycle of an insurance claim. Upon completion, you should be able to work with the practice management software (Medical Manager/Medisoft) by using practical experience to guide you.

Course Objective: You will learn how to gather and enter data, process paper and electronic claims, post payments, generate reports, and bill your clients.

Prerequisites: Basic PC skills are necessary to complete this course. These skills include a basic understanding of a computer's operating system, lauching an application and creating, saving and copying files.
